Los Angeles, CA (April 16th, 2016) – – The Only Believe Foundation announces its event “From The Heart” with Emmy nominated recording artist Sheree Brown, which is an intimate night of art, healing, and giving back in Los Angeles California (3701 West 54th Street Los Angeles, CA 90043) from 4pm-7pm. This will be the first event from The Only Believe Foundation’s Encouragement Project Initiative; the purpose of this initiative to bring awareness to domestic violence and empower women who may have suffered from traumatic experiences such as intimate partner violence and/or homelessness.
This event will feature a special performance from Emmy Nominated Recording Artist Sheree Brown, who will be performing excerpts from her book “Messages From The Heart” a book composed of 9 women’s stories surrounding love, lost, joy, pain, and overcoming obstacles while finding their strength and faith in overcoming their struggles. Brown’s “Messages From The Heart” is an uplifting and empowering book for all who have prevailed through challenging situations in life and she has curated a multimedia experience capturing deep expressive feelings, releasing miraculous strength to hope as she reads the stories and sings the songs that accompany them.
General admission to this event is $15, which includes appetizers. VIP admission is $30, which includes priority seating, appetizers and a signed copy of Messages From The Heart, which includes a CD.
This event serves a two-fold purpose: to raise awareness for domestic violence and to help battered women at the Sojurn House in LA by collecting the following items: Bath and Kitchen Towels, Soup Spoons, Tupperware, and laundry baskets. Only Believe will be accepting these donations at the event and will be giving special gifts to those who donate. The Only Believe Foundation also gives scholarships to deserving young adults to curve the cost of college costs so proceeds from this events will go to Only Believe’s scholarship fund.
